26 Jun: Merge myself with the colour of these clouds !

Mora gora ang lai le… Mohe Shyam rang dai de… Chhup jaungi raat hi mein… Mohe pee ka sang dai de.. Shyam is another name for dark skinned Krishna. To unite with him, I will lose myself and take on his qualities. I seek union with the divine. To be coloured in Shyam’s colours, I want to immerse in His qualities. Hiding in the night means losing my ego to merge with Oneness. I will gladly give up my ego…

22 Jun: Monsoon is here..

Mohabbat barsa dena tu..saawan aaya hai.. Tere aur mere milne ka..mausam aaya hai.. Monsoon is here..the season to shower your love is here… The clouds hide my beautiful snow peaks. Mt Trishul and Maa Nanda Devi are just there, right behind these clouds. Still, the clouds and mountains complement each other so very splendidly ! The moon looks lovelier and forlorn in the Himalaya. The full moon rises from behind the hills at Gagar, Ramgarh, Kumaon…

It’s the best room at Soulitude for sure. Spacious for four of us couple with two teenage kids. However there’s some construction activity going on at the adjacent plot to the cottage which can get noisy. In addition the generator is also near the cottage which again is on…

The food is fantastic, the rooms are lovely and the river flowing next to your rooms is the icing on the cake. Do not miss the Parital trek. Stayed April 2017, travelled with family

We stayed at the cottage and we were only ones, so we could enjoy the privacy. Food was good. Ambience of all the rooms is simply good. Except for the 8 hrs drive from delhi, I would go there many times a year Stayed May 2016, travelled with family
