Wow. I had to stop and think hard before writing this review. The reason being that I have never been to a property like this before. You need strong legs and a slight streak of adventure to get here. The motorable road ends about a kilometer away from the property, so you follow your guide up the river, crossing the boulders through narrow bushy roads wondering where the hell you are heading. And when you arrive there finally, you are stunned. The place is huge. A river runs through it. There are vegetable and fruit trees all around. The rooms are basic but have all amenities you might need and are very tastefully decorated. There is a gazebo that enjoys sunshine through the day with some lovely books to read. The food is superb and the dining area is themed like a local dhaba. The staff is well behaved and always smiling. They go the extra mile to make this remote place extremely child friendly, which is not an easy task. When visiting, ask one of the staff members to walk you up to Parital, an almost celestial looking plunge pool that reminds you of the exotic locales from the movie The Beach. If you love nature and want to be TV/telephone/wifi-free for a couple of days alone or with your family, this is the place for you.
