With over 5 acres of terraced land, Soulitude by the Riverside is a working farm and we organically produce for our own consumption here, as well as for consumption at Soulitude in the Himalayas. Our vegetable production includes tomatoes, potatoes, onions, garlic, peas, beans, cabbage, cauliflower, corn, cucumber, turmeric, lime, lemon, capsicum, various varieties of chilies, aubergine, gourd, zucchini and many more, as well as several lentils (dals).
Herbs include mint, spearmint, coriander, lemongrass, rosemary, marjoram, chives.
Fruits include strawberry, oranges & various citrus, peaches,. We have also planted several trees including mango, litchee, guava, amla.
We make our own pickles, jams & preserves, tomato puree, juices & squash.
